WARDOGS Launchers: RPG-7, MAAWS, Verba and MGL-40
Choose WARDOGS launcher ammunition for vehicles, aircraft or demolition, compare community weapon records and plan a firing position with a safe exit.
Which launcher should you choose in WARDOGS?
Choose for the target: a vehicle, an aircraft or a position that needs explosive pressure. Buy the matching ammunition and plan where you can fire without being left exposed. A familiar launcher name does not establish a one-hit kill.

What do the launcher records contain?
The community catalog lists four launcher-class records and a separate AT4 entry. Use the ammunition label to identify the intended comparison, then inspect the current item and target rules.
| Weapon | Caliber | Recorded price |
|---|---|---|
| 9K333 Verba | 72mm Anti-Air Missile | $800 |
| MAAWS | 84mm Anti-Tank Shell | $2,600 |
| MGL-40 | 40mm Grenade Shells | $6,000 |
| RPG-7 | 93mm Self-Propelled Rocket | $2,000 |
The AT4 record has incomplete fields. Its presence in the catalog does not establish the same purchase or carrying rules as another launcher.
How should infantry attack a tank?
Coordinate a shot from cover while teammates watch the threats around you. Identify the vehicle, confirm your round and choose an exit before firing. Avoid a long approach across open ground just to reach a speculative weak point.
Check whether target aspect and armor areas differ in the current build. Do not assume a rear hit, a single rocket or a particular real-world penetration value guarantees destruction. The tank guide explains how armor and supporting infantry fit together.
What should you consider when targeting aircraft?
Use equipment intended for the target and confirm its aiming requirements before committing. An anti-air label alone does not explain acquisition time, line-of-sight rules or the number of hits needed.
Coordinate with friendly anti-air vehicles or emplacements when possible. The helicopter guide helps identify the routes and tasks an enemy aircraft is supporting.

Can launchers destroy buildings?
Yes. Official footage and descriptions show rockets damaging apartment blocks. Demolition can change a firing lane or remove cover, but it can also expose the position your own team is using.
Tell teammates which structure you intend to attack and leave a way to use the opening. The building guide covers defensive fallback routes; it does not assume every wall or surface has the same vulnerability.
How much does a launcher life cost?
Count the weapon, ammunition and the rest of the equipment needed to reach the target. The tableβs community price is only one part of the purchase. An expensive vehicle target does not guarantee enough reward to repay a failed series of launcher lives.
Use the loadout checklist and economy guide before buying. If the target leaves, reassess the job instead of forcing a shot at something the kit is poorly suited to answer.
