WARDOGS Helicopters: Transport, Attack Roles and Supply Runs
Compare WARDOGS transport and attack helicopters, plan passenger drop-offs and FOB supply flights, and account for anti-air threats and replacement cost.
What can helicopters do in WARDOGS?
Transport teammates to the Control Zone, deliver supplies to a FOB and provide air support. Choose one of those jobs before buying the aircraft. A successful flight delivers something useful, not merely a long time in the air.

Which helicopters are listed?
The community catalog contains six helicopter records, including armed variants. Check their current access and equipment before deciding which one suits the flight.
| Vehicle | Recorded price | Record |
|---|---|---|
| AH-6M [Miniguns] | $7,000 | Open item |
| AH-6R [Rockets] | $12,500 | Open item |
| Havoc | $18,000 | Open item |
| MH-6 | $6,250 | Open item |
| Z20 Lakota | $7,400 | Open item |
| Z20 Lakota [Miniguns] | $8,000 | Open item |
A weapon name in the variant identifies a starting comparison. It does not tell you the current crew positions, ammunition supply or complete operating cost.
How should you plan a transport flight?
Arrange passengers, a useful destination and a landing or drop-off the squad can survive. Ask where the passengers need to go, choose a fallback and avoid delivering everyone into an exposed fight without warning.
Coordinate with ground players on the final approach. The Control Zone guide helps identify a destination that contributes to scoring rather than leaving the squad far from useful ground.
How do FOB supply runs fit the match?
They support a position that teammates are actually using. Confirm the required supplies, destination and access before flying. A stocked but irrelevant base does less than support for the route the team needs now.

Use the building guide to judge the position. If ground transport can complete the same job more simply, compare that option before committing to an aircraft.
What should attack crews watch for?
Watch anti-air threats, ground exposure and the route out after the attack. Armed helicopters can support a fight, but repeated predictable approaches give opponents time to respond. Avoid choosing a target solely because it is visible.
The Gepard and armored-support guide explains one anti-air role. Launchers and emplacements add other threats whose current acquisition and damage rules matter.
Does flying unlock pilot skills?
Pilot progression and the planned Player Skills system are different. The community progression tables include Pilot requirements, while BULKHEAD says Player Skills are not available at launch.
Read progression and skills before planning an ability or unlock. Practice the actual flight controls and review replacement costs before buying a specialist aircraft for the first time.
